Biography: Victor Lyric Allen was born July 12, 1957 in Alexander City, Alabama to the late Ruby Jean and Tommy Allen.
 
Victor moved to New York City with his family in 1970 and attended I.S.110 for a year. He then moved to Yonkers, NY and graduated from Yonkers High School. After graduating Victor joined the military. He served 3 years as a (MP) Military Police for the United States Marines.
        
Upon returning home from the service Victor enrolled at Monroe College where he obtained an Associate Degree in Computer Science.Afterward he worked various jobs. His most recent jobs were, New York City School Safety, and then he transferred to New York City Department of Corrections. Upon completing 20 years of service Victor retired.
      
Victor was kind, generous and always willing to help; he was an exceptional friend.  Everyone that knew him could see he had a gentle soul. He had a very strong personality and was determined to succeed in whatever he put his mind to. Victor loved to cook and get together with his family during the holidays. Victor enjoyed listening to music,watching movies and taking pictures. He would have family cookouts so everyone could be together. His family looked up to him as their hero. Victor was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was the patriarch of his family.
      
Victor is preceded in death by his siblings: William Cornell Allen, Tracy Lynn Allen, Stacey Edrick Leonard and survived by his siblings: Natalie Cobb, Sandra Diane Kennedy, Brenda Vernice Allen, Jeffery Todd Allen (Sister in law Debra Bosier Allen), Shironda Denise Gamboa, and Glenn Patrick Gamboa. His surviving children: Nicole Allen, Nathaniel Allen, Stephanie Allen, Victor Allen, Yasmin Simone Allen, BrittneyApri Allen, Atreyu Davonte Allen, Stephon Jennings, Desiree Williams, Daisy Williams, grandchildren James and Marcus Allen, goddaughter: Syscharle’ Kozischek, aunt: Vonceille Leonard Weekes, nieces and nephews: Cassaundra Wilcox, Monica Monique Kennedy, Trachelle Kennedy, Willie Joe Kennedy, Lashona Furs, Malik Allen, Angel Boone (nephew in law Troy Boone), Tamieka Bell, Darius Allen, Quinton Allen, Qushawn Allen, Stacey Leonard Jr., Krysta Leonard-Piper, Tanisha Leonard, Tanaza Leonard, Shaquana Leonard, April Leonard, Nicholas Allen, Nichole Allen, Montrey Ford, Infinite Cox, Glenn Gamboa Jr., Janelle Gamboa, Andrea Gamboa, Justin Gamboa, Sondra Mateo and a host of grandnieces, grandnephews, family and friends.
