Biography: Rose white was born in Bronx NY to the proud parents of Leroy Collins and Frances Winslow on January 10, 1954. She was the third of four children.
Rose attended George Washington High School where she completed the 12th grade.
Rose was fortunate to obtain employment at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx where she worked as a personal care attendant. After several years there Rose started a family and stayed home to raise her children. After caring for her children she started a new career with New York City Housing Authority until she was unable to in 2010.
Rose enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and being part of her community. She was known as the Mayor of the neighborhood. Rose touched many lives & will be missed.
She leaves to mourn in her passing: one brother James Winslow, one sister Leola Jackson Green (William), four daughters: Ieasha, Shannon, Tanya and Kayla; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
