Biography: Mr. Nathan Thompson Jr. was born in NYC to Nathan Thompson Sr. of the Bronx, New York and Viola Thompson of Marshall, Texas 10/5/1953.
In the early morning of January 24th, 2020, the angels suddenly descended upon him to carry him home.
Nathan was educated at P.S.128, Stitt Junior High School and Benjamin Franklin High School. As young as six years old he was always interested in graphic arts. Anyone who really knows Junior can tell you that he was a free spirit and he had the ability to make anyone smile.
In 1971, Nathan met and later married Julie Outlaw. From this union on daughter was born named Nedra Thompson. Julie would later die after a long term illness, leaving Nathan sad and alone. Nathan would remain in NYC calling it home. In 2009, Nathan would later meet his long term companion Ruby Diane Williams who he adored up until the day the angels would call him home. Ruby Diane and Nathan resided in Utica, New York together with his four step children whom he loved as his own.
Nathan is survived by his daughter Nedra Thompson of New York; his sister Albertine Thompson of Mansfield, Texas; two nieces: Kellie Harden and Jamekia Swepson; two nephews: Joel Harden and Jabar McCullum; two great nieces: India and Bella; two great nephews Orion and Justin; Two uncles Willie E. Boyd (wife Elizabeth) of Bronx, NY and Tom D. Boyd of Spring Valley, NY; his long term sweetheart Ruby Diane Williams; stepchildren: Michael, Mitchell, Mario and Barry; six step grandchildren along with a host of other cousins, relatives and friend.
