Biography: Deneen Crystal Francis entered this life on November 12, 1964 to parents Charles and Mildred Francis at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
 
Deneen was raised in the Astoria Houses.  She received her formative education at PS 171, IS 126 and William Cullen Bryant High School.
 
In her growing up, Deneen had aspirations of one day becoming a well known Rap Artist this earning her the nickname "Neenie Dee."  She loved playing pranks on people which would often times land her in trouble;  but she always found a way to talk herself out of it. 
 
Deneen worked as an Administrative Assistant for Steinway Mental Health Clinic, Martin DePorres Community Service Center, Coler Memorial Hospital,  The Archdiocese of New York and Crosslands Youth and Family Outreach Program. 
 
Deneen loved life to the fullest.  She enjoyed a good party and the people she would come in contact with. Deneen loved to eat and if you were cooking something she really loved, you could be sure she would be there. If she took a liking to you,  you became family to her.  Because of this she was blessed to consider many as her sons, daughters, nieces or nephews. 
 
Sadly, Deneen departed this life on June 17, 2020. She is proceeded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, her parents Charles and Mildred Francis, her brother in law Andrew Hopper, her two companions that meant the world to her; Samuel Moorman and Todd "Devine" Taylor. 
 
She leaves to mourn her passing her sisters; Alicia Hopper and Johnell Francis, son,  Angel Moorman, nephews; Jarel Jennings, Damien Walker and Tahshiem Green. Nieces;  Aja and Tara Hopper, Denia Green and Naima Moore, grandson; Nicholas Moorman, special and dear friends Deneen Belk, Amanda Smith, Doreen Jones and caregiver Jacqueline
Williams, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
