Biography: A TIME TO BE BORN
On October 9,1955. Rafael Villa was born to the late Tomasita Astacio Villa and Ramon Villa in New York City.
 
A TIME OF EDUCATION
Rafael graduated from Monroe High School in Bronx, New York. He began working for Time Life Magazine where he developed his passion for photography. Ralphy loved to take pictures of his family and community. He later retired as a handyman for the Salvation Army.

In 1978 he met Tameka with whom he later entered into Holy Matrimony with and their union was blessed with a daughter.

Rafael loved the church and had his personal relationship with God. The people that knew Ralphy knew him as a very affectionate and loving person. He took pride in helping family and friends. He loved fixing and playing music. He enjoyed long bike rides around Central Park and loved all types of animals.
 
He was preceded in death by his siblings: Raymond, Miriam and Edwin.

Rafael leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter Dedelajaudes Villa; grandchildren: Chance Goodwin, Choice Goodwin, Nnandi Goodwin; His sisters Carmen Olivio and Sonia Lopez; Brother Guillermo Villa and a host of nieces and nephews, great grand nieces and nephews that will miss him deeply.
