Biography: Charlene Strobert was in born Charleston, South Carolina to the proud parents of Lesby and Beatrice Brown on January 24, 1946. She was the second of three children. Both of her siblings Roberta and Kenneth preceded her in death.
Charlene attended elementary school in South Carolina. The family moved to New York City settling in Manhattan where she graduated from Clara Barton High School.
Charlene was employed with J.P. Morgan Chase for 25 years. She enjoyed cooking, watching her favorite shows and spending time with her friends and family.
Charlene touched many lives and will be missed. She leaves to mourn her son Rodney Brown and his fiancé Satrina, daughter Lisa Coleman, son-in-law Ed Coleman, grandchildren Cameron, Carlton, Corey, Jada, Jarrod, Ashley, Jaihlen, Nevaeh, Nyaisa, nephews Maurice and Erick, niece Michelle and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends
