Biography: Eloise Parrish was born in Wadeboro, North Carolina to parents Anna Sue Crowder and Marshall Lee. Her siblings included: Bobbie Crowder, Lillie Crowder, Sabree Abdullah, Patricia Gibson, George Kenneth Crowder Andrew Lawrence Crowder, Juana
Taylor and Antonio Crowder.
Eloise grew up in Detroit. She attended Dickerson Elementary School, Nicholas Copernicus Junior High School and Hamtramck High School in Michigan.
Eloise moved to New York in 1959 and obtained her GED and dental assistant certification. She enjoyed cooking, singing, watching sports, attending family gatherings, playing cards and praying. She believed in God and prayed constantly.
Eloise had five children: Mary Crowder Ballo, Taheerah Robinson, Charlietta Parrish Barber, Damon Parrish and Terrance Heyward
Eloise was preceded in death by: her parents, brothers Bobbie Cowder and George Kenneth Crowder, and daughter Mary Crowder Ballo.
She is survived by: four children: Taheera, Charlietta, Damon and Terrance; three sisters and three brothers; 19 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
