Biography: Helena Jackson Lewis was born and raised on James Island in Charleston South Carolina to parents Wilson and Susan Jackson.  They had 18 siblings and she left behind one sister, Daisy Walker.
 
Helena came to New York where she met and married Lloyd Lewis.  They became the proud parents of eight children:  Arthur, Nathaniel, Helena, Umar, Kim.Areatha, Susan, and Lloyd.
 
Helena worked at Allied Maintenance Company for 40 years and retired in 2004.  She enjoyed being with her family for all holidays and doing things together as a family.
 
Her favorite hobbies were cooking and baking, and she also enjoyed going out with friends, dancing and playing music.
 
Helena touched many lives and will be missed.  She leaves to mourn her passing, eight beautiful children:  Arthur, Nathaniel, Helena, Umar, Kim. Areatha, Susan and Lloyd; Fifty (50) grand-children, and Thirty (30) great grand-children.
