Biography: Jean Nicolas Forestal was born August 23, 1939 in Haiti to a large family where he attended high school and graduated and was the first in his family to join the military and fought for his country at a young age.
Jean came to the U.S. to provide a better life for him and his family. He became an entrepreneur by owning his own TLC cab in which he worked over 35 years and retired. He was a man of faith and he was a high-ranking member of his club. In America he met the love of his life his wife Caroll-Marie whom he married and created beautiful children with. He now joins Caroll-Marie hand and hand in the next life.
He leaves to cherish: his brother Maxium, sister-in-law Maude, his niece Cindy and nephew Bobby Forestal and his own three children: Jean Forestal, Ronald Forestal, and Keity Forestal; his grandchildren: Hasani, Zaira, Christian, Ariel'lyn, and Syeef and a host of relatives and friends.
Jean was a man of honor and grace who respected himself and others. He was a big reader who valued knowledge and education. We often found him cooking traditional Haitian dishes with love and family.
