Biography:
Allen Keefer Davis was born in Brooklyn, New York to the proud parents of Bessie Davis and Allen June Banks on April 1, 1970. He was the fifth child out of seven children.
Allen was affectionately called, “Keefer” by his family as well as close friends.
Allen attended elementary school in Brooklyn, N.Y., his high school years were spent at Boys & Girls High School in Brooklyn, N.Y. Allen was very athletic, often participating in gymnastics and other sports.
Allen worked various jobs throughout his life which led him to Schenectady, N.Y. Allen eventually secured a job with Sears Department Store, where he was able to use his prior custodial experience. Allen enjoyed his job and loved learning new job skills. Allen eventually became disabled and unable to work. He filled his days caring for his family, doing light workouts, and enjoying music.
Allen always had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around. Allen will always be remembered for his wonderful smile. Allen touched so many lives and will forever remain in our hearts.
Allen’s parents proceeded him in death, along with his sister, China Davis Ibrahim. Allen leaves behind his Partner, Angie Stark. The Children include Angallena Davis; Caleb Davis; Isaiah White; Christopher Talbert; Olivia Wilbourn; Timothy Norwood; and Keshawn Carter. Allen’s siblings are Arlene Davis Fischetti(Robert); Diana Davis; Paula Davis; Marlon Davis(Yasminda); and Robert Davis. Allen had one grandchild; 2 Aunts and 2 Uncles; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
