Lavon Sharif Covington was born into this world on April 3, 1986 by his beloved mother Patricia Wilson in Queens, New York. Four years later his mother married Eric Covington who became Lavon’s adoptive father. Lavon’s biological father is Eric McGirt. Lavon departed this life on January 6, 2022.
Lavon attended First Corinthian Baptist Church when he was 12 years old. Lavon went to Public School 113 and Public School 180. He also attended Wadliegh School of the Arts. Lavon graduated from Global Business Institute in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration. Lavon did not have any children.
Lavon started out writing poems at the age of 13. He turned those poems into songs and music. His passion for music was great. His dream was to bring happiness and joy with music and performing arts. As Lavon developed his art and style of music he began to do shows. His stage name was L.P. (Lovingly Pizzle) in the hip hop community. Lavon performed several shows. He performed at the Blackthorn Club in Queens and he was featured on the BME Optimum Channel 68.
Lavon was preceded in death by his grandmother Flora Wilson in 2018.
