Victoria Ann Tribble, fondly known as Cookie was born to the late George and Rita Maria Tribble on June 26, 1965 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the second born and eldest daughter of five siblings. Cookie’s one and only heartbeat, her son Seneca Johnathan Tribble was laid to rest in 2019. Cookie was called home after a long batter with cancer on January 31, 2022.
Cookie was educated in the New York City Public School System, and in spite of her life challenges she completed high school and attended Monroe College where she eventually earned her Masters Degree in Sociology in 1999.
Cookie had a bright personality, a warm spirit, kind heart, compassion and a great sense of humor. She kept her conversation true and real with everyone. She was a terrific big sister and always looked out for her siblings and was tough when she needed to be, she was strong and independent, with grace and style. Cookie loved a good party, she loved to laugh and make others laugh. She enjoyed doing makeup and hair; and her favorite color was RED!! She was well known in her community and toughed the lives of so many people she came in contact with. She loved and adored her family immensely and extended family too.
Although she was diagnosed a few years earlier with cancer.in the year 2020 Cookie was diagnosed again with Cervical Cancer. She was a fighter to the end, and endured much during this trying time. Cookie’s close friends: Julie, Joe and Falcon, were always by her side during these tough times, as well as the good times. There are so many words still left unsaid, but the one thing that was known to Cookie is, she was adored and loved so much by her family as well as her friends. She will surely be missed.
