Biography:
Heroilda Troche was born on May 27, 1939 to the late Gloria Acosta in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Heroilda transitioned to eternal glory on February 2, 2022 where she is sitting at the right hand of God.
Hilda, as she was affectionately called, attended cosmetology school and obtained her license after completing high school. She enjoyed making people look and feel nice. That's why she went into the beauty business.
Hilda enjoyed cooking and hosting family and friends. To know Hilda, you would know she had an open heart. Her doors were always open to those in need. She gave birth to thirteen children but she was a surrogate and
grandma to many. Her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids were hereverything. She loved sharing childhood memories, life lessons and funny stories knowing it would make them laugh. She was loved and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her: son, Nelson, Sr.; grandkids: Nelson Jr., Jose, Jazmine Maribel and Robert; one of her closest and special friends, Ignacio Morales; her great-grandkids: Samari, Jamiya, Amaress, Isabel and Isaiah; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
