Biography:
On Saturday, March 19, 2022, the Lord called Denoris Gilyard home at Doctor’s Hospital, Augusta, Georgia.
Denoris was born on July 7, 1955 in Orangeburg, SC, to the late Willodean Gilyard. He graduated from Branchville High School in Branchville, SC
At an early age, he joined Canaan Baptist Church, (now New Branch Baptist Church) in Orangeburg, SC. He was loved by both his family and friends, and will be truly missed by everyone who knew him. He was proceeded in death by his brother, Horace Gilyard.
His loving memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife, Gloria Yvonne Gilyard of 38 years, his two daughters: Pamela Gilyard , and Chandra Gilyard of Branchville, SC, five grandchildren: Ty’Resha Gilyard, Ty’Vonta Scott, Ty’Desha Gilyard, Carrie Gilyard, and Riaya Gilyard, all of Branchville, SC; one special uncle, Eugene Gilyard of New York; two sisters- in- law : Floria Murray of Branchville, SC, and Ruby Goldsmith of Florida; two brothers-in-law: Truman Daniels of Orangeburg, SC and Ernest Henderson of Branchville, SC, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins , and two special friends: Herman Jenkins and Jerome Dingle.
