Errol Llewellyn Crown, III was born on September 3, 1999 in Harlem Hospital to Lashonta Smoot and Errol Crown, Jr. Errol was an active child despite all the obstacles that came against him.
Errol was diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia and Moya Moya Disease. Things always managed to knock Errol down, but he always seemed to get back up and fight his way through. During his fight, doctors said Errol would not live past five years old, but as we can see, that wasn't God’s plan. We were blessed to have him seventeen years longer.
Errol was educated in several primary schools. His last center was Blythedale Children’s Hospital where he was able to get his high school diploma and maintain his life. Errol loved video games, basketball, football and all of Chris Brown’s music. He loved his family and friends and was always in touch with someone. Errol was preceded in death by his grandfather, Errol Crown, Sr. Errol leaves to mourn: his mother, Lashonta Smoot; father, Errol Crown, Jr.; sisters: Quinntasia Crown, Cristina Smoot, Keianna Brown, Lanette Crown, Taquasha Crown, Aaliyah Crown and Tiashelle Crown; brothers: Michael Foster Dickerson, Jr., Stephon Crown, Lavant Spartley Crown and Daniel Crown; grandmothers:
Dana Powell and Diana Crown; grandfather: Elizah Smoot; one niece, Kaylanni Crown; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
