Ms. Tina Lynn Roberts was born August 17, 1959 at 2:37am in Manhattan, New York, to the late Thomas E. Roberts and Helen B. Wade Roberts. On July 25, 1965 Tina was baptized at Our Lady of Victory in the Bronx, New York. On May 10, 1969 Tina received her First Communion and October 1970 Confirmation at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 1949 Bathgate Avenue, Bronx New York.
St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School District was where Tina excelled academically with high honors. Tina's athletic basketball quick and fast techniques on the court attributed to the team winning many seasonal tournaments and finals.
In May 1975 Tina graduated from St. Vincent High School in Staten Island New York, wherefore Tina earned a Certified New York State High School Diploma. The Student Body stated the following: "Tina Roberts Our Beauty and Quiet young lady. Was born August 17, 1959---a Leo. - Tina enjoys music and wants to learn how to pliry- her guitar. Her interest va,y and we are sure she will select the correct path. Good Luck Tina, we will miss you"
Those of us who really knew Tina Lynn Roberts can testify that she wasn't a bit shy to say "Hello, can you put something in my cup." As a token of appreciation to those who gave, a returned "thank you" was Tina's gratitude. Although our baby sister was diagnosed with mental illness, the Roberts Family respected and loved Tina Lynn Roberts unconditionally, Tina is now free and at peace. For me to live is Christ, and to die is to gain" Philippians 1 :21
His life is in me, and to die is to gain the glory of eternity Tina leaves to mourn, her sisters: Denise (Sherpio) Hawkins, Regina G. Roberts, Kim (Michael) Gibbs, Barbara A. Goss, and Debra Edwards, one brother: Thomas E. Roberts, Jr., many grand nieces, nephews, great grand nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
