Biography: A Time To Be Born: Vallie Mae Norman was born November 28, 1928 in Montgomery, Georgia to George and Carrie Norman. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Carrie Norman, her sons; Glen L. Norman and Walter Norman, granddaughter; Crystal D. Norman, brother; George D. Norman, sisters; Virgie L. Norman-Thompkins, Lovie L. Norman, Lillie B. Norman, and Rose N. Norman-Cannady.
A Time To Live: She went to school in Montgomery, Georgia. She moved to Valdosta Georgia where she worked as a cook in a restaurant. She had two sons; Glen L. Norman and Walter Norman in Valdosta, Georgia. She moved to F1orida for a moment, then moved to New York City following her sister, Rosa N. Norman-Cannady. She worked as a House Cleaner in Yonkers, New York. She then had her last child, Kevin V. Norman, raising him and working until she retired.
A Time To Die: Vallie Mae was called home into eternal rest on August 28, 2022.
A Time To Mourn: Sister Vallie Mae leaves to cherish her memory, her youngest son; Kevin Van Norman, her daughter-in-laws; Willie Mae Norman, Veda Rankin Norman, and Theodora L. Norman. Grandson's; Rasheen A. Nor man, Kevin Nor man, and Eric Nor man. Granddaughter's; Yvette Norman, Taneka R. Norman, Latice Y. Champelle, Shaniqua Norman, Keniyah Norman, and Nekaiya Norman. Great Grand children; Davon Kelly, Tyequan Norman Smith, Brianna Norman, Rasheen Norman,Jr., Takarah Norman, Tamara Norman, Tatiana Norman, Tara Norman, Kyler Norman Ford, and Takai Norman. Great Great Grand children, and a host of family members, friends, and neighbors from 560 Lenox Avenue.
