Biography:
Betty Newsome, the twelfth of sixteen children of the late Raymond Newsome and Thelmarie Newsome was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 29th,1964. Betty is preceded in death by her parents and several of her siblings leaving behind her two sisters: Sally, and Valerie.
Betty is survived by her loving children: Tyrone, Anthony, Aimahlia, and Amanda. She also leaves behind her four grandchildren: Josephine, Yesenia, Amaya, and Jayvion, and also nieces, nephews and friends.
Betty was a devoted mother who loved her children wholeheartedly. Those who knew her know they were her most prized possession. She loved to lend a helping hand whether it was cooking or cleaning, but more importantly she loved to make people smile, as her laugh was contagious.
She influenced those around her to make good choices, and to encourage others to spread love everywhere they go. She had a gold soul.
As Betty journeys home to be with her heavenly father, we know that the love she expressed to family and friends will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Although she will be greatly missed, we are proud of the good life she lived.
