Dennie L. Holley was born June 19, 1962 in Bertie County, North
Carolina to Dennie and Dorothy Holley. He came to New York in 1963. He departed this life on December 26, 2022 at Clove Lake
Nursing Home in Staten Island, NY.
He attended Martin Luther King High School and grew interest in Dance and Music. He became an amazing dancer and traveled to New Orleans as the Solo dancer.
He joined Shiloh Baptist Church on March 23, 1975 under the Leadership or Rev. Leslie E. Wainwright. He worked for Rosenthal and Rosenthal as the Owner’s Personal Driver for 35 Years. His life changed on Sunday September 5, 2021 when he suffered a Stroke.
Dennie serviced his community by sponsoring a yearly Toy Drive that he ensured children received gifts for Christmas. He enjoyed baseball and played for the Harlem Raiders baseball team until he moved to Staten Island, NY where he then joined Winter and Summer Rab’s Country Bowling League. He was also an Entertainment Producer of SNS Productions that organized Ski-trips and Summer Events.
Dennie Loved his family and was the glue that held the familytogether. He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving Mother
Dorothy Holley, father Dennie Holley, Wife Tracy Washington, Son: Christopher Allen Holley and 2 bonus son’s Micheal Washington and Lamont Love, 1 Grandson Carter Love, 3 sisters: Regina Taylor (NJ), Cynthia Singh (PA), Maryann Williams (N.C) and 1 brother James Riddick (N.C) Nieces: Jazmin James (NJ), Gina Cheng (PA), Summer Warren (PA) Nephews: Darryl C. aylor (NJ), Gabriel Taylor (NJ) Brother-in-law: Darryl Taylor (NJ); and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
