Biography:

Leroy Smith was born in New York Metropolitan Hospital on April 17, 1960 to Carolyn Williams and George Leroy Smith. Leroy attended elementary school PS 52 in Jamaica Queens, New York. Upon graduating high school, he attended LaGuardia Community College.

After attending college, Leroy enlisted in the US Army, where he was a medical specialist. He returned to New York where he found employment as a boiler installator where he worked for the next 30+ years. Within those years he met his beloved, Pristina Williams. This union lasted over 25 years. They did not have any children, but he raised Pristina's daughter, Sedonia as his own.

Leroy loved sports, football, basketball and riding bikes. He also loved listening to music and dancing. Boy he could dance. He loved to break things and fix them back. Sometimes he couldn't fix it, because he lost some pieces. LOL

Leroy touched many lives and will be missed. He leaves behind: his mother, Caroyln Williams; His 3 sisters Tina, Jamane, and Laverne; Nephews: Antoine, Aaron, Floyd Jr. Avante, Tiquan, Brandon and Kajuan; Nieces: Octavia and Machelle: Great-nephew Christian; Great-nieces: Kayla and Aubrie Aunts Irene Richardson and Ann Barnes; and a host of family and cousins and friends. He also had a special love for his cousin/sister, Deborah Williams.
