Wlliam E. Moore was born on May 30, 1957, in Sumter, SC to the Late Woodrow Sr. and Rosa Lee Moore Lang. He entered into eternal rest on April 6, 2023 at his residence in the Bronx, NY.
He received his formal education in the public schools of Sumter County. William was a veteran of the United States Army. After his service in the armed forces he worked in the culinary field, as a Chef, which afforded him the opportunity to work in South Carolina, Florida and New York. William enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to music, laughing and cooking.
He leaves to cherish precious memories his loving children, son Damien (Alicia) Moore of Rockhill, South Carolina, daughters, Kalisha Moore, Sierra Moore, both of Columbia, South Carolina, five grandchildren, Peyton, Logan, Carson, Elle and Dakota, two brothers, Raymond (Karen) Lang, of Wedgefield, SC, Woodrow Lang Jr, of the Bronx, NY, aunts, Louise Lang, of Wedgefield SC, Rebecca (Lance) McClees of Columbia, SC, Elizabeth Sargent and Marion Coombs, both of New Jersey, uncles, Oscar (Dorothy) Moore Jr. of Douglasville, Ga, David (Gwen) Moore, of Columbia, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents and grandparents, William was preceded in death by his brothers, Leroy Moore and Melvin Moore, uncles, Eugene Lang, Clifton Lang Jr., Marvin Lang and aunt Thelma Costen.
