Biography:

Ms. Marie Lumaine (Lumene), daughter of Aldeius Lumene andTernera Leconte was born on November 16, 1935 in Anse-a-Veau, Haiti. She was the fourth of five daughters. Her siblings were Iserve Lumene, Adelia Lumene, Therese Lumene and Jeanne Lumene.

Marie was the kindest and sweetest person. She was open hearted, selfless and always showed love to her family/friends. She loved to sew and make dresses. Marie was known to the children of her family as “Madame Konkonm”, she loved to feed everyone and make people laugh with her jokes. She will be missed tremendously!

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her daughter Martine Savion; devoted nieces Marie Maude Brevil, Guerda Douger and Elmarthe Lumene; devoted nephews Jolicuer Dominique, Erick

Lumene, Maxson Lumene, and Patrick Pilorge; and a host of devoted great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
