Toby Joubert was born in Harlem, New York City on June 18th, 1972, to the parents of Gladys Ruth Joubert and Clyde Joubert who met in the Army and got married shortly after. He had four brothers: Johnny Stevens Jr., Jermaine Stevens/Joubert, Jermaine Joubert and an additional brother; Five Sisters: Tinisha Stevens, Latasha Stevens, Karen Stevens, Keisha Stevens and Frakoba Stevens and another sister on his father’s side. Toby went to public elementary and middle school in New York City. He also attended High School; however, he ended up getting his G.E.D. He also received his certification at the Culinary Arts School. He loved cooking. It was one of his passions. He also received his security certificates to work security.
During Toby’s life, he had 3 children: two sons Toby H. Joubert Jr. and Samuel F. Joubert from his relationship with Rosalind Magwood; and a daughter named Sarah Diamond De Niro from his relationship with Diavion "Nikki" De Niro. Toby had several jobs throughout his life. He was a chef, DJ, security guard, caterer and music artist. That was his gift. He had 2 public access shows, V.I.P. Pass and Video Underground. In these shows he interviewed up and coming artists such as himself and famous artists as well. He made guest appearances on The Cabbage Patch Music Show and radio show podcast. As you can tell music was what made him happy. He performed on 106th and Park " Free Style Friday" winning rap battles.

Toby was raised Baptist but later decided to follow his own path. He liked to make people laugh. He enjoyed watching comedy shows such as Kids in The Hall and South Park. He loved nature, cooking, writing music, skateboarding and DJing. He also was a Star Wars Junkie (LOL) and last but not least he loved his video games, that was his pass time.

Toby leaves behind his mother, sisters, brothers, six grandchildren, three children, two aunts and one uncle: Janet Judge, Darlene Cofield, Sarah Ann Stevens, Uncle Jake Harrison and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and friends. He will be joining his father Clyde Joubert and brother Johnny Stevens who will be waiting with open arms.
